After having a screening and a tutorial with Mark Chaudoir and Malcolm. We were pleasantly surprised with our feedback. Everyone was very impressed with the filming however many believed the typographic element in the composition made it too complicated. “Focus is important, but I don’t know where to look” Mark Chaudoir expressed this comment passionately.
Last development needed in our final video was to add a series of photographs of individuals supporting the campaign by wearing a pair of boxers on top of their clothes. This was our call of action. VITAL to get this across effectively.
As a result of our critique we decided to remove the typographic element and keep it simple with a voice over. We also will change the end instagram scene with a series of photos of students wearing the boxers.
We are hoping to enter our film into the creative conscience competition so we will definitely take this feedback on board and make some changes.
Overall, our concept was clear and just needed the final refinements.
